In partnering with World Venture, Emprendimiento Mundial, Uncharted Waters, Compassion International and the local hospital Combase, we as a team are setting a foundation for further ministry here in Bolivia. We are showing the local church what it looks like to teach the gospel in a new way and meet existing needs within the community. This is the mix between business, community development and the church loving as Christ demonstrated!
Please continue to pray that though we stand out as white, super tall and are unable to speak Spanish that we would still communicate love, compassion, and be culturally sensitive. We are not here to change a system that has been in place for years, but to support and encourage the church in every way we can.
Fortunately for us a lot of this looks similar to the early church in the book of Acts, sharing meals and spending time together. I am so blessed to be surrounded by these people.
